This snail got its name because it appears to have a golden rabbit face with droopy, ear-like antennae and a mouth that is turned down. It comes from the Lake Matano in Sulawesi, Indonesia and is a very striking, golden snail. It is a hardy, attractive snail that many hobbyists enjoy in their tank. Since snails like to scavenge off fish waste and dead plant material it is best if you introduce them to a larger tank that has been cycling for some time. This will give them plenty to graze off of while protecting them from nitrites and ammonia. These snails will also need plenty of wood, rocks and other items to crawl around and hide in. Some keepers report that the Gold Rabbit Snail will eat some aquarium plants such as Java Ferns. For the most part the Golden Rabbit Snail will move around your tank grazing off of biofilm, dead plant material, fish waste and algae. Occasionally they may forage into your growing plant life so you will want to consider this when choosing plants for the tank. They also enjoy eating left over fish food, algae flakes or wafers and sinking pellets alongside blanched veggies like kale. The Golden Rabbit Snail is a lot of fun to breed because it will deliver 1-3 nicely formed ‘babies’ in milk-white sacs that they emerge from without an incubation period. They breed at a slow enough pace they won’t become a nuisance snail yet are fun and exciting to house. The males and females can’t be differentiated so you will need to pick up a few if breeding them is your intention. The movement of the Golden Rabbit Snail is very entertaining. It will use its large foot to drag itself slowly around the tank grazing off of the ground and walls. Their deliberate, foraging movements will provide entertainment for some time. There are some hobbyists that will recommend you don’t house with fish that are egg layers as they may dine off the eggs. The metal copper is lethal to all snails and found in many medications used to treat fish. Be careful when checking the ingredients and making sure that your medication is safe for use in tanks with snails before using it on yours. It also can’t be stated strongly enough to not release your animals into the wild as it can cause a strain on the natural ecosystem.
Please note tips may be broken off but usually regenerate slowly.

arrived happy and healthy, even though USPS decided to drive them from Pittsburgh to Philly and back before delivering them. 4 day delivery instead of 2, but all 3 are healthy and beautiful in our tank

One of the snails arrived with a damaged shell, but it doesn't seem to be affecting it, and one of them gave birth to a baby snail(I've only seen one) only a few hours after I put them in my tank. It looked like my baby oscar wanted to eat the baby snail, but he failed and it fell to the bottom of the tank off the glass and then it went to go hide in a plant and I haven't seen it since.
